India’s most trusted commuter bike brand, Hero Splendor, is all set for a game-changing upgrade. According to industry insiders, the New Hero Splendor 125 is gearing up for an official launch by July 2025. With a refined 125cc engine and an impressive mileage of up to 90 kmpl, the bike is expected to attract daily riders, college students, and office commuters alike.
Power + Mileage: Hero Gets It Right Again
Hero Motocorp seems to be hitting the sweet spot once again by combining performance, economy, and legacy. The upcoming Splendor 125 will come with a BS6 Phase-2 compliant 125cc engine, likely producing around 10.5 bhp of power and over 10 Nm torque — ideal for both city rides and highway cruising.
Most importantly, Hero claims a stellar fuel efficiency of 85–90 kmpl, thanks to its i3S technology (Idle Stop-Start System) and advanced fuel injection setup.

Price & Launch Timeline
The expected ex-showroom price for the Hero Splendor 125 may start around ₹84,000 to ₹88,000, slightly above the Splendor Plus but still highly affordable for Indian buyers.
The official launch is speculated to happen in the first or second week of July 2025, with dealership deliveries beginning soon after.
Why This Launch Matters
With rising fuel costs and the demand for powerful-yet-efficient bikes, the Hero Splendor 125 could dominate the segment. Competing against the likes of Honda Shine 125, TVS Radeon 125, and Bajaj CT 125X, this new Splendor might redefine the commuter category once again.
